I am a professional wedding photographer and I have a fascination with the south coast of Dorset which is where I do most of my work passionately specialising in natural, relaxed and fun wedding photography. When the conditions are right, I also specialise in water sports photography across Bournemouth and Poole.
I have been professionally photographing weddings in and around Dorset for many years with over 100 weddings experience and I still always enjoy creating a story from the photos I take, documenting each and every wedding with an unobtrusive approach. (The best shots are always taken when you don't know I'm taking them). I live just outside Bournemouth in Wimborne and I am married to my soul mate and best friend, and together we have two beautiful children. Having been on the other side of the lens on my own wedding day has added an even greater insight and understanding into weddings and how much time and work you put into them as a couple. I love being married and I still get a huge buzz from every wedding I photograph.
I use professional grade high end Canon cameras to photograph all my weddings (two Canon 5D mark 3 cameras and a Canon 5D mark 2 camera as a backup). My bag is always full of a large range of the highest quality Canon L lenses to shoot wedding photography and I use SPL water housings for when I am in the water taking water sports photos. Being able to get in the water with my camera has allowed me to take photography to the next level and I absolutely love it!
I have had my work published in many magazines and other publications from local wedding titles to being interviewed by national photography magazines. I was also approached by both Bournemouth Tourism and Christchurch Tourism to shoot both tourism brochures from 2009 - 2012. More recently however, I have purely been focusing on weddings and water sports which you can view highlights on the blog.
